Skyview Ranch

Skyview Ranch is a small neighborhood found in northeast Calgary just minutes from the Calgary International Airport in between Metis Trail to the west, 60^th Street to the east, the Redstone neighborhood to the north, and the Cityscape community to the south. Skyview Ranch is bisected by Country Hills Boulevard which turns into Highway 564 farther to the east. Originally established in 2011, the Skyview Ranch neighborhood is a relatively new addition to Calgary and is currently underseeing much residential development as the city hopes to continue to turn it into an attractive community for newcomers to Calgary.

Public school students in Skyview Ranch attend Rundle elementary, Dr. Gordon Higgins junior high, and Forest Lawn senior high school while Catholic school students attend Monsignor A. J. Hetherington elementary, Blesses John XXIII junior high, and Bishop McNally senior high school.

This area of Calgary remains in development as the city continues to expand outwards with the hopes of establishing increasing numbers of residential communities in this area. There is much nature surrounding Skyview Ranch as well as a small number of transportation routes that guide residents outside of the Skyview Ranch area.

The neighborhood is at a significant distance away from the downtown core of Calgary with many residents commenting that living in Skyview Ranch doesn’t even feel like Calgary. This community is aimed at attracting young industrial workers who can benefit from the employment nearby, young families looking for an attractive property to settle in, or seniors looking to settle in to an accommodating property.

Calgary Transit has a small number of stops located in the community and nearby in order to accommodate residents who want to travel across the city without a vehicle.

Skyview Ranch combines parks, pathways, and vibrant streetscapes in a neighborhood that maintains a clear view of the Calgary skyline as well as the Rocky Mountains that hang in the background. All generations are welcome to come to this lively community where a variety of housing opportunities are offered.
