St. Andrews Heights

Four kilometres out from downtown Calgary and in the northwestern quadrant of Calgary, lies the residential development of St. Andrews Heights. Public school students attend Briar Hill elementary before graduating to Queen Elizabeth junior high and senior high. Meanwhile Catholic students are assigned to attend the nearby Our Lady of the Assumption elementary and junior high before graduating to either St. Mary’s senior high or St. Francis senior high.

Due to the amenities that are all found within a short distance of St. Andrews Heights, the properties in the neighborhood are highly sought after with a little less than half being rented. The University of Calgary along with a number of malls and restaurants are all within a few minutes of the neighborhood. The Bow River’s beautiful curves flow through immediately south of St. Andrews Heights.

Calgary Transit offers over a dozen stops set up throughout the community to give residents the chance to visit other neighborhoods as well as to grant them access to downtown Calgary within a matter of minutes.
